Introductions

So, this is inspired by a recent development in my life.

I've been out as a transwoman to a good portion of the crew for a long time now. Being accepted, loved, and supported by my closest friends and their families has been incredible. Since the most recent announcement about protecting trans service members, I came out to my COB and was overwhelmed by his support and his protective visceral reaction. So I made this in response, a potential possibility in my future!

P.S. Trying out another way of capping, aside from my usual. I definitely like this one better and look forward to growing in ability!

  1. Hmm, I work near a Navy Base and I've yet to see that uniform be considered as standard issue dress blues! You are rocking it so well though that I'll let it slide this time.

Also, glad to hear that you've had a good response to those you work along side. There are some other active service members that belong to the Haven, though I'm not sure how many are "out" at this moment.

    1. Haha, a girl can hope, no?

I can understand that fear or desire not to. But I've been on deployments with these people, been through things, I just couldn't hide who I was when I've been there for many of them in one way or the other.

  2. Hi Audrey. I just found your caption site. Your caps are fantastic. I recently just came out to my family. I would love talk if you'd ever like to. Either way keep up the great work! Thanks!
