Using a different style and method to create this caption, I think it would have been better without the insert, but I'm happy with the fade into the picture! Thanks everyone who has been viewing and a special thanks to those who've spread the word about my page. It's easier to create when other people are actually reading and it's not just for yourself.
I think the text overwhelms the pic. One of the difficulties of capping, editing text down. Enough to tell the story without embellishment.
ReplyDeleteOh and your page views doubled in one day. Added your blog yesterday afternoon.Only the ten most recent ones show up so yours popped into the list immediately and my blog got hit heavy yesterday, about 9k views so hopefully you got some new readers.

DeleteKeep up the good work. Experimenting is always a good thing, and I thought it was crafted well and the fade looked good. My main concern with design is to make sure the caption overall is balanced between image and text, without too much dead space to draw your eye away from the composed final work.

That's the goal. And with the new interest (Thank you, I'm sure it was!) It's easier to create, even if not on the set schedule I want.
